PostSubject: Album Review: A Kid Named Cudi - Kid Cudi   Thu Feb 25, 2010 12:56 pm

Well when Day n' Nite came out last summer I thought Kid Cudi was pretty awesome cause he wasnt like other rappers he had something else. i did some searching around and found his first mixtape called A Kid Named Cudi, which was released before his first album. Ive been listening to it Since the summer and I still really like it. It isnt like other rap and the beats are insane

Track List:

1. Intro
2. Down and Out
3. Is There Any Love? feat Wale
4. Cudi Get
5. Man on the Moon (The Anthem)
6. The Prayer
7. Day n' Nite
8. Embrace the Martian
9. Maui Wowie
10. 50 Ways to Make a Record
11. Whenever
12. Pillow Talk
13. Save My Soul (The Cudi Confession)
14. T. G. I. F.
15. Cudi Spazzin
16. Cleavland is the Reason
17. Heaven at Nite

This mixtape is better than his album in my opinion. Not saying Man on the Moon wasnt good but I just feel this shows the real Kid Cudi and if his next album sounds more like this then it will be a huge hit. Not to mention this mixtape was released for free by Kid Cudi for everyone to listen to. Overall I give it a 9.5/10 Almost every song is good but it can be hard to get into at first if your not that into rap which i wasnt at the time until i heard Kid Cudi.
